Anubhav Educational & Social Welfare Society
Empowering women through creativity
01 — About Project Hunar
Project Hunar was born from a simple belief that every woman, regardless of where she comes from, carries within her the capacity to create something extraordinary. What she needs is the space, the training, and someone to believe in her before she believes in herself.
Since its inception under Anubhav Educational and Social Welfare Society, Project Hunar has trained women from underserved communities across Delhi in tailoring, stitching, garment making, crochet, and the ancient art of Madhubani painting. These are not just skills. They are livelihoods. And behind every product in this catalogue is a woman who built hers from scratch.
Every stitch is intentional. Every piece is made with care. And every order placed with Project Hunar goes directly toward sustaining the livelihood of a woman who earned it.
He does not just supervise. He mentors, encourages, and pushes every woman in the workshop to do her best work.
02 — The Hands Behind The Craft
Project Hunar's production is guided by our in-house masterji, a seasoned craft professional whose expertise spans decades of tailoring, garment construction, and quality finishing.
Under his guidance, what begins as a woman's first uncertain stitch becomes a confident, finished product that meets professional standards. He is the reason our quality is consistent. And he is the reason our women grow, not just as artisans, but as professionals.
When you order from Project Hunar, you are not just getting a well-made product. You are getting the result of mentorship, patience, and craft passed down with intention.
03 — Why Partner With Us
Here is why Project Hunar is worth a closer look — four reasons your procurement team, your CSR lead, and the artisans behind every piece will all thank you for.
Most production houses have minimum order quantities that put them out of reach for smaller brands. We accept orders starting from as few as 25 pieces — you should not have to order more than you need just to get something made well.
Whether you need a specific size, colour, fabric, print, or branding element, we work with you to get it right — end-to-end customisation, from concept to finished product.
There are no middlemen. The work is done by the women we train, supervised by our masterji, and delivered with the same care they put into every piece.
For organisations aligning procurement with CSR goals, partnering with us offers tax benefits. Every rupee spent here is documented, transparent, and accountable.
Pricing depends on product and quantity. Write to us for a quote.
04 — Madhubani Collection
Passed down from mother to daughter, painted on walls, floors, and fabric, Madhubani art carries within it the stories, rituals, and beliefs of generations of women who had no other canvas. Our collection is developed under the guidance of Anuradha Jha, a disciple of Padma Shri awardee Sita Devi, one of the most celebrated exponents of Mithila art.
Every piece is hand-painted — the fish, the lotus, the sun, the peacock, the bride and groom — each motif carrying a story thousands of years old, now living on a saree, a shirt, a lamp, a diary. All pieces are available for custom orders. Bulk orders welcome from 25 pieces onwards.

05 — Quilted & Handmade Collection
Each pouch is stitched with care. Each tote is built to last. Each crochet flower is looped by hand, one stitch at a time, until something that started as yarn becomes something you want to keep on your desk. Particularly well suited for corporate gifting, personal occasions, festive hampers, and retail.
Custom prints, colours, and sizes available on request. Minimum order: 25 pieces.
06 — For Small Businesses And Startups
We understand what it feels like to be a small brand trying to do things right. You want quality, fair pricing, and a partner who communicates well and delivers on time. Project Hunar can be that partner.
We work with small businesses, independent designers, D2C brands, and first-time buyers. Our minimum order quantity of 25 pieces means you can test a product, place a small gifting order, or launch a limited collection without committing to more than you are ready for.
07 — Corporate Gifting
A handcrafted quilted pouch. A Madhubani-painted diary. A crochet flower that sits on someone's desk long after the occasion has passed. These are things people remember — and remember where they came from.
Each piece is handcrafted by trained women artisans, customisable with your branding, and available in bulk from 25 pieces onwards. Whether employee appreciation gifts, client hampers, conference giveaways, or festive season orders — we can help.
CSR budgets welcome. 80G tax exemption available.
08 — Custom Orders
Tell us the product, the quantity, the size, the fabric, the print, the colour, and any branding requirements — our team will work with you to bring it to life. If it can be stitched, quilted, crocheted, or painted, we can make it.
Custom orders start from 25 pieces. Pricing depends on product specifications and quantity.
